World Centric PLA Cold Drink Cups

World Centric PLA cold drink cups are made from NatureWorks polylactic acid (PLA), which is derived from corn grown in the USA. As strong as plastic cold drink cups these products are biodegradable. They are compostable and are ASTM D6400-99 certified for “compostable plastics”. They will degrade into water, carbon dioxide and organic material in commercial composting facilities. These PLA cold drink cups are for cold drinks only and should be used at temperatures below 110 degrees (F). Because corn is a renewable resource World Centric cold drink cups offer a more eco-friendly alternative to their petroleum-based counterparts. To distinguish their cold drink cups from plastic ones World Centric prints a “Bicompostable logo” and “This cup is made from corn and is 100-percent compostable” in green color on one side of the cups.
